4 reasons people enjoy doing therapy with me
Medical Jargon and Details Don’t Scare Me
I’m super comfortable with medical jargon, and I do a ton of background research on my clients to understand their diagnosis or disability fully. I deep dive into clients’ medical histories to create solutions tailored to them. The more medically complicated, the better.
We Collaborate Together
My therapy is collaborative. We have conversations, and I help you brainstorm through your challenges. I work as a teammate with you in trying to solve specific day-to-day problems.
I Use A Mind-Body Approach
I address the physical issues alongside the emotional/mental issues. I’m comfortable discussing not only how to deal with existential dilemmas such as figuring out life’s direction and purpose, but also how to deal with practical issues such as chronic fatigue and creating accessible spaces.
I’ve Seen It All
Having worked with people with many different types of diagnosis’ and disabilities for over a decade I have a lot of insights and resources I am able to provide. I frequently utilize my connections within this community for my clients.
Even as you overcome huge changes in your life

Hi, I’m Jenna,
I’m a therapist for people who have had their life flipped upside down by a diagnosis, injury, or disability who want to live a full life. The problem is after such a dramatic change, it is difficult to imagine how life is going to get better. This can leave someone feeling hopeless and lost.
I firmly believe it's possible to live a fulfilling and successful life no matter how dramatic, crazy, or rare the situation that has flipped your life upside down is. Using my degree in Exercise Physiology, I worked for almost a decade providing exercise-based rehab to people living with paralysis, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological diagnoses. During this time, I realized there was a major gap - the mental health component of recovery was not being addressed and was causing my clients to fall short of their goals to get their lives back on track. So, I went back to school for a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for people dealing with health challenges and disabilities just like you.
